This discussion offers important insights into the challenges within Central African Republic and how indigenous moral concepts, particularly that of Zo Kwé Zo, can help to build peace. We invite you to listen in and learn from Rev. M’Bara. His contribution also connects to themes we explored together last year in the Stott Bediako Forum on Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation from a lens of Postcolonialism and Indigenous Christianity.

INFEMIT Stott-Bediako Forum

The bi-annual S-B Forum brings together scholar-practitioners from around the world to discuss missiological themes relevant to advancing the mission of Christ as one of radical transformation in a rapidly changing world. As its name suggests, the ethos of the forum follows in the footprints of John W.R. Stott and Kwame Bediako – Christian leaders who have had a lasting impact on generations of Christian believers worldwide, particularly as they emphasized and insisted on proclaiming and living out the whole Gospel. Both Stott and Bediako promoted a holistic understanding of mission and the importance of constructive engagements of Christianity and culture.

During the 2020-2021 Stott-Bediako Forum, we explored the theme Peace Building and Conflict Transformation from a lens of Postcolonialism and Indigenous Christianity. Find more on the 2020-2021 forum here
